Man, internets is crazy. Back in the day, I would have to loiter for hours in Borders Books with a pile of expensive imported magazines that I had no intention of buying to find out stuff like this. These days, I just scroll down my Facebook feed. Anyway, I just found out about the first ever Ramones Museum in Berlin.
It first opened in 2005 after the girlfriend of German uber-fan, Flo Hayler, wanted his 18 years worth of hard collected Ramones stuff out of the apartment. Sorry brother, we’ve all been there. The first museum lasted for two years until it had to be vacated to make room for a soap store. A new space opened up in 2008 and is there for you to visit next time you are in Berlin. Nice work, Flo. We accept you. One of us.
